Happy New Year and cookies!!!!

I originally wanted to make these butter cookies for Christmas but for some reason never got around to it. The recipe is from the awesome recipe blog Lottie and Doof. He did several posts called 12 days of cookies, making 12 different kinds of cookies in 12 days, and this was his last one. Being a novice at baking, I set the fire alarm twice when I was baking them. It wasn't the cookies that were burnt but the baking sheet, which I found very odd.

I also made yogurt ice cream without an ice cream maker! This recipe I got from 101 cookbooks which is also a very pretty and entertaining recipe blog, more professional. The ice cream was amazing, but if you guys are planning on making this over the holidays, make it with a little less vanilla and sugar. When I put the noted amount, I thought it was a little too sweet. I'm definitely making this again when I go back to MICA, especially since we all crave Pink Berry ALL THE TIME!

I'm also knitting a new scarf. and cleaning like crazy.

I'm not making any new work right now, but I'm gathering/editing my portfolio stuff. I think you guys saw all of my projects from last semester anyways, but if I need advice I'll let you guys know!
